{"id":102,"date":"2008-12-03T13:17:31","date_gmt":"2008-12-03T18:17:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ancientphilosophysociety.org\/?p=102"},"modified":"2008-12-03T13:17:31","modified_gmt":"2008-12-03T18:17:31","slug":"2009-conference-submissions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ancientphilosophysociety.org\/website\/2009-conference-submissions\/","title":{"rendered":"2009 Conference Submissions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are happy to report that we have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ancientphilosophysociety.org\/?p=13\">again<\/a> received an enormous number of submissions to the <a title=\"2009 Conference Information\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ancientphilosophysociety.org\/?p=30\" target=\"_blank\">9th Annual Meeting of the Ancient Philosophy Society<\/a> to be held this year at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loyola.edu\/\">Loyola College in Maryland<\/a> April 23-26, 2009.\u00a0 This year have received over 75 submissions for a program that has traditionally accommodated about 14 papers (not including invited keynote speakers.)<\/p>\n<p>Although we have historically held to a tradition of having only plenary sessions at our annual conference, due to the large number of submissions we have been receiving over the past few years, we are looking into the possibility of having a few concurrent sessions so we can accept more of the excellent work submitted.<\/p>\n<p>Decisions about the program will be made by February 15th, 2009 and we hope to have the online conference registration page for this year up and running by the end of December 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to all who took the time to submit a paper to the Ancient Philosophy Society and know that we are working to accept as many excellent papers as possible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are happy to report that we have again received an enormous number of submissions to the 9th Annual Meeting of the Ancient Philosophy Society to be held this year at Loyola College in Maryland April 23-26, 2009.\u00a0 This year have received over 75 submissions for a program that has traditionally accommodated about 14 papers (not including invited keynote speakers.)
